Ivan Rakitic has spoken on the disappointment that he feels because of his current situation with Spanish giants Barcelona.

The Croatian midfield maestro has saw a reduction in his playing time this term and has drawn links to several other clubs, including Inter.

“I understand and I respect the decisions of the coach, the club and whoever else. In these five years that I have been in Barcelona I have given a lot and I want to continue to do so, I am having fun here,” he said in an interview with Movistar show ‘Universo Valdano’.

“How does my little daughter feel when a toy is taken away from her? Sad. I feel the same way but instead the ball has been taken away from me, I feel sad.

He concluded: “I like to show my feelings. When I have to cry, I have no problem in doing so. When I have to celebrate, I celebrate.”
