In an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, Valentino Lazaro’s agent Max Hagmayr is convinced that his client will see more of the pitch in the future.

“He plays in Italy and rightly is learning to speak Italian. It is normal that at the beginning it took him time to learn the methods of Conte,” he began.

“He was injured, there was no space for him also because Inter was doing good without him. Now he will play more because he has understood what it means to play at Inter.”

He then revealed some of the background to his client’s transfer to the Nerazzurri from Hertha Berlin.

“I spoke with Inter for the first time in February, Conte was not the manager at that time. Ausilio had known about him for six months, then there was a meeting with Conte where he explained how he wanted him to play: that meeting was crucial to make him wear this shirt.”
