Fiorentina have tabled a loan with redemption option offer to Roma for defender Alessandro Florenzi according to a report in today’s print edition of La Nazione.
La Viola wish to take the 28-year-old Italian international on loan for the remainder of this season and the report states that the redemption fee will be set somewhere between €19-25 million.
The Florence based club are far from alone in courting Florenzi, who has fallen significantly out of favour in the Italian capital under the management of Paulo Fonseca.
Inter, Sampdoria, Juventus and Ligue 1 club Lyon are all also understood to have an interest in signing Florenzi, who has spent near enough his entire career with the Giallorossi, barring a brief stint with Crotone.
This season he has been limited to nine appearances across all competitions for a total of 571 minutes on the park. He has started from the bench in Roma’s past six matches and got off the bench just twice for a mere 18 minutes.
