Chelsea’s Olivier Giroud is Inter’s primary target to bolster their attacking department in the January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Tuttosport.

The Frenchman has struggled for regular game time at Chelsea this season under new manager Frank Lampard and with just six months left on his deal with the blues, Inter should be able to acquire him relatively cheap.

However, as the report goes on, despite this, it has not stopped Inter management from drawing up a list of alterantives in the event that they are to face difficulty in trying to sign the 33-year-old.

Genoa’s Christian Kouame is one option Inter have in mind but it is difficult to imagine the Rossoblu letting him go cheaply in January. Inter could also look to bring back Andrea Pinamonti from Genoa but it is similarly difficult to see this happening.

The report goes on to add that Udinese’s Kevin Lasagna and SPAL’s Andrea Petagna are both also options that Inter are considering.
