Inter are one of four clubs to have a strong interest in signing Alessandro Florenzi according to a report from TuttoMercatoWeb.

Roma are seemingly open to dealing Florenzi away in the not too distant future and Inter are joined by fellow Italian clubs Fiorentina and Cagliari in having an interest in him.

Inter manager Antonio Conte wants reunited with the 28-year-old defender, who he worked with whilst in charge of the Italian national team a few years back.

The fourth club to have shown an interest in him are Ligue 1 outfit Lyon, who are managed by former Roma manager Rudi Garcia.

The idea of Florenzi moving to Lyon has however not really taken off due to the fact the player is worried about not being seen as much which could therefore have a detrimental effect on his chances of making future Italy squads, including the squad for next Summer’s EURO 2020.

Florenzi has made nine appearances across all competitions this term for Roma but has been unable to score or assist any goals.
