Inter strikers Lautaro Martinez and Mauro Icardi are two of the seven names on Barcelona’s shortlist as players who could replace Luis Suarez according to a report from Mundo Deportivo.
Not only is Suarez’s deal up with the Blaugrana at the end of the season but with him coming up for 33-years-old, it is clear that he does not represent the long term future for the club.
Barcelona’s interest in Lautaro Martinez is far from new with them having drawn several links to the 22-year-old striker in recent weeks and months.
As for Icardi, the 26-year-old, who is currently out on loan at PSG, is no stranger to the La Liga club having actually come through their famed La Masia academy.
As per the report from the Spanish news outlet, Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski, Paris Saint Germain’s Kylian Mbappe, Tottenham Hotspur’s Harry Kane, Arsenal’s Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and RB Salzburg’s Erling Braut Haaland are all also on the list of players that the Spanish giants are considering.
