Inter and Juventus will go head-to-head to try and sign no less than two players in the Summer transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Gazzetta dello Sport.
The first player is Christian Eriksen. The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker has yet to put pen to paper on a contract extension and with his contract due to expire at the end of the season, the Nerazzurri and Bianconeri will both go in for him if his contract runs down.
The report does however warn that they could miss out to Manchester United, who are keen to sign him in the upcoming January transfer window.
The second player is Fiorentina’s Federico Chiesa. Juventus seemed to already have been given the green light by the player himself but Rocco Commiso’s takeover of La Viola has changed everything. Inter are hopeful of taking advantage of this and would be able to guarantee Chiesa a starting berth, unlike Juventus.
