A move for Alessandro Florenzi is not in Inter’s plans, at least according to a report in today’s print edition of Cirrere dello Sport.
Having fallen down the pecking order at Roma, several clubs have been linked with him in the media, including Inter but the Nerazzurri will not be making a move for the 28-year-old Italian defender.
Whilst Antonio Conte would like reunited with Florenzi and a swap deal could have occurred, Inter’s focus is on other positions than full back.
The report goes on to state that a move to one of Fiorentina, Cagliari or Sampdoria could materialise, even if only a loan move for the remainder of the season.
One thing for sure, the report goes on, is that if Florenzi is to leave the Giallorossi in January, it will be to a fellow Italian club.
This season Florenzi has been limited to nine appearances and not got off the bench in five of Roma’s last six matches.
