Inter will have to pay around €30 million if they wish to sign Rodrigo de Paul from Udinese in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.

The Nerazzurri are on the lookout for a player who could strengthen their midfield department for the second half of the season and beyond and have taken a keen interest in the Argentine, who is capable of playing in various roles in the midfield and in the attack too.

The report goes on to state that the Nerazzurri could well look to sign him on loan with a redemption option or obligation.

The 25-year-old, who is under contract with the Bianconeri until 2024, has made 10 appearances across all competitions this season in which he has scored one goal and tallied four assists.

de Paul is one of several midfielders to have drawn links to Inter recently with the likes of Brescia’s Sandro Tonali, and Atalanta’s Dejan Kulusevski both all being linked among others.
