Inter Striker Lukaku: “I Am Much Better, We Want To Get A Good Result Against Russia”

In an interview with Belgian news outlet RTBF, Romelu Lukaku has confirmed he is feeling physically well ahead of the Belgian national team’s final EURO 2020 qualifying matches.

“Now I am much better. I received a blow during the Champions League match against Borussia Dortmund, a month ago. I had pain for a month then I had some inflamation on one of my feet but I feel better. If Martinez will put me in charge of the attack, he can count on me. I feel good and I am happy to be with the team,” the striker explained.

He then went on to discuss the match against Russia, which will be contested at Zenit St. Petersburg’s stadium.

“We want to get a good result, we have won all the matches and we want to continue like this. We know that tomorrow’s game will not be easy, but I think the motivation is there to get a good result.”
