Inter Target Alessandro Florenzi: “I Want To Give My Contribution To Roma”

Roma captain Alessandro Florenzi, who Inter are keenly following, spoke about his feelings at the Giallorossi in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

“Against Bosnia I didn’t play to change the Fonseca’s mind, but for myself. I’m just thinking about playing, I want to give my contribution to Roma.”

He then elaborated further on his feelings at Roma and his role as the club’s captain.

“I hope I’ll soon be able to put the coach in trouble and he’s now making other choices that I respect. If I have to be a captain, I have to set an example: as in the previous years, I put Roma ahead of myself. We all have to be quiet and work, because if the captain does it, everyone else does it too.”

Inter are one of many clubs following the situation surrounding Florenzi, thinking of acquiring him in the upcoming January transfer window.
