Barcelona have declined a €15 million offer for unhappy midfielder Ivan Rakitic received from a Premier League club, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Catalan based newspaper Sport.

The report details how an unnamed English club offered €15 million for the Croatian midfielder, but the Blaugrana are not interested in offers for him below €35 million, due to the club’s Financial Fair Play requirements.

Furthermore, the report highlights how Rakitic’s favoured destination is Italian giants Juventus, but the Bianconeri are not willing to reach the €35 million figure required, especially considering their already busy midfield. The 31-year-old Croatian doesn’t want to move to the Premier League, the report adds.

Therefore, there are two remaining clubs who are still keenly interested in the player, the report continues. The first of these is Spanish side Atletico Madrid, but so far, a concrete offer hasn’t been received. The other interested club is Inter, with coach Antonio Conte identifying Rakitic as a good match for his tactical system.
