Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito, who scored a goal and provided an assist in the Italy Under 19’s 2-0 victory over Cyprus yesterday, discussed the game on the official Italian football federation website.

“We created many opportunities from the channels especially at the start of the first half, in which we started well. We’re a great group and it’s great to be part of this team.”

Esposito has scored two goals and provided two assists in two games for the Italy Under 19 squad, showing his incredible potential with the Azzurrini as well. The 17-year-old also scored 14 goals and provided eight assists in 20 appearances for the Under 17 squad as well.

The Italian teenager also has the trust of Inter coach Antonio Conte, who has promoted him to the first team for this season. With the first team, Esposito has made four appearances so far this season, including in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund.
