Inter have multiple players out on loan as well as loaned to the club, and a report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport analysed the situation.

The report details how Inter’s two star midfielders Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella are both loan deals, with Sensi’s option to buy surely being activate and Barella having a buy obligation attached, although it’s obvious that the Nerazzurri would sign him permanently regardless. However, the same cannot be said for Manchester United’s Alexis Sanchez, who’s high wages and lack of explosive start with the club may push them to return the player to England next summer.

Another player in a similar situation to Sanchez, the report highlights, is Fiorentina owned Cristiano Biraghi. The Italian full-back has featured regularly for the Nerazzurri this season, but they will have to decide whether he is worth the money come next June or not.

On the other hand, Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has already got two key players on loan who will surely generate revenue for the Milanese side, the report suggests. The first of these is Argentine striker Mauro Icardi, who is impressing French side Paris Saint Germain so much that it’s likely they will activate their €70 million buy option on the player. The other player in a similar situation is Ivan Perisic, who is also impressing Bayern Munich and would only cost the German club €20 million.

There are some players that the Nerazzurri aren’t certain about, however. The report adds that Inter owned midfielder Radja Nainggolan, currently on loan to Cagliari, could return next summer if he continues his strong performances with the Sardinian side, but currently Inter are unsure. Furthermore, Genoa goalkeeper Andrei Radu is likely to return from his loan spell with Genoa, owing to his notably strong performances. Finally, Inter owned striker Eddie Salcedo may return from his loan spell with Verona.
