Inter coach Antonio Conte was absent at Inter’s training ground in Appiano Gentile yesterday in order to spend time with his family and try to forget about the threatening letter he received last week, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
The report details how the 50-year-old Italian coach will return to the training ground today and hopes that a few of Inter’s injured players will be fit in time for the Nerazzurri’s trip to Turin to play Torino.
Roberto Gagliardini, Stefano Sensi and Kwadwo Asamoah are the three names that Conte is hoping he will be able to bring along to Saturday’s game.
The investigators are now analysing the envelope and the bullet sent in order to discover clues that could lead them to the identity of the individual that made the threats, the report highlights.
The police have also included Conte’s home address on a list of places to be monitored by General Radio-Controlled Vigilance, in order to ensure his safety.
