A report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport has analysed the quality of each team’s transfer market moves this summer, with Inter striker Romelu Lukaku topping the last.

The report details how the 26-year-old Belgian striker, who joined the Nerazzurri from Premier League side Manchester United in the summer, has been incredibly effective so far this season. He has played 987 minutes out of a possible 1080 and has scored nine goals in 12 league appearances for the Nerazzurri.

Other names on the list include Inter midfielders Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi, who joined the club from Cagliari and Sassuolo respectively. They have both been highly rated, due to their strong performances at the club and quick adaption to coach Antonio Conte’s tactical system, the report highlights.

However, two Inter players haven’t adapted well to the club since their arrival, the report continues. Defender Diego Godin has so far not lived up to the level seen with Atletico Madrid, owing to his struggles to adapt to a three-man defence. Furthermore, Inter forward Alexis Sanchez, on loan from Manchester United, was also viewed in a negative light.

The report touches on how the Chilean only made three league appearances for the Nerazzurri, two as a substitute and one as a starter, before scoring a single goal and then being sent off. Following that game, he was injured with the Chilean national team, and still hasn’t returned yet.
