Well-known Italian agent Oscar Damiani discussed Inter and their scudetto fight with Juventus in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb, where he also highlighted Inter’s market moves and young players.

“The Scudetto fight is really good, between two strong teams like Inter and Juve. The Bianconeri have not shone but they can improve. The Nerazzurri have an extraordinary coach who is giving a strong and winning mentality and above all knows how to motivate the whole squad.”

Damiani then touched on Conte’s outburst following the Nerazzurri’s disappointing defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.

“It could be an idea that he did it to motivate the squad. It’s not the first time, even in the other teams every now and then he was polemical towards the management, but he always does it for the sake of good. Sometimes he may like it and sometimes he doesn’t, but the results come.”

The former Juventus and AC Milan winger believes that Inter won’t make any big purchases in January.

“There’s no chance to make big purchases. Better to work for next year. Otherwise it’s hard to find players who can improve your squad.”

He then spoke about his client, Lucien Agoume, currently an Inter Primavera player.

“With him on the pitch France would not have lost the semi-final at the World Under 17. He’s making his way, Inter have made a great purchase. And then he’s an extraordinary guy. We’re waiting for him with confidence.”

Finally, Damiani discussed other players he represents, such as Inter owned goalkeeper Ionut Radu and Parma striker Yann Karamoh, also on loan from the Nerazzurri.

“Ionut is strong in his head and as a player. At the end of the year we’ll see what the best solutions are. We’ll evaluate. There’s the whole squad back, no hurry. He has to save Genoa. As for Karamoh, he got hurt at his best. We’re waiting for him to come back. He needs continuity. He’s doing well in Parma, this experience will make him even stronger.”
