Former Inter defender Andrea Mandorlini spoke highly of Inter and their coach Antonio Conte in an interview with Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb yesterday.
“Inter have amply demonstrated that they can fight to the end. There is also the January market where I believe Inter will act.”
Mandorlini then touched on Conte’s small public outburst following the Nerazzurri’s disappointing 3-2 defeat to Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
“An outburst dictated by disappointment. The situation then returned. There may be some staff problems but Inter are there to play. He was dictated by the heat of the moment. The team are strong.”
“They have to be fully completed with spare players. Maybe up front. Also, because there are excellent players in the middle of the pitch.”
The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league table after 12 games, sitting only one point behind rivals and league leaders Juventus. Their next game is against Torino on Saturday.
