Italy’s Under-19 squad has already secured qualification to next summer’s Under 19 European Championships, hosted in Northern Ireland. Inter striker Sebastiano Esposito started his third game in a row for the Azzurrini, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews today.

The report details how the 17-year-old Italian has been instrumental to the success of the Under 19 squad, under the guidance of coach Alberto Bollini. The Azzurrini are currently top of their qualifying group, in part due to the incredibly strong performances of Esposito.

Esposito has scored two goals and provided three assists in the Azzurrini’s three qualifying games, showing his incredible potential despite his young age. In Italy’s first two victories on their campaign, against Malta and Cyprus – which were both won 2-0, Esposito scored a goal and provided the assist for the other.

For Inter Esposito hasn’t disappointed yet either, showing great potential despite his limited first team minutes under coach Antonio Conte.
