Inter’s upcoming opponents Torino returned to training today, hosting an open-door training session for fans to attend, according to a report from Torino’s official website.
The report details how the Turin based club started full preparations for their next game against the Nerazzurri on Saturday. The training session started with an initial warm-up phase, before the reduced squad split in half to play a smaller scale match.
The squad was heavily reduced to both various injuries and the international break, the report continues. Italian midfielder Daniele Baselli took part in almost all of the training session, whilst the injured defender Kevin Bonifazi followed a personalised training program. Spanish forward Iago Falque continued his rehabilitation, certain not to appear against the Nerazzurri.
The nine players called up to their respective national teams were missing, the report adds. There is a small concern though, as Brazilian defender Lyanco left the pitch early in the Brazilian Under 23’s match against Argentina. The 22-year-old will undergo instrumental medical tests today to examine the seriousness of the injury.
