Inter defender Milan Skriniar’s former agent, Mithat Halis, discussed his former client in an interview in today’s paper edition of the Spanish newspaper Diario AS.

“Skriniar is worth €100 million. Real Madrid and Barcelona have been competing for his transfer for two years. Now Real Madrid are closer to reaching an agreement with Inter, because they want it him, they need him much more than Barcelona.”

“Real Madrid need to seek for alternatives to the starters Ramos and Varane, for this reason there has been an approach to Inter. I think Skriniar will go to Real Madrid.”

Halis works for the company Stars & Friends, who still represent the 24-year-old defender. Some reports from Spain are suggesting that Barcelona aren’t interested in Skriniar, surely leaving Los Blancos as the front runners to sign the Nerazzurri defender.

Skriniar has struggled to adapt to coach Antonio Conte’s back three, but has still been impressive this season for the Nerazzurri.
