Inter target Olivier Giroud has received an offer from another English team for his signature, with a German side also following the 33-year-old Frenchman, according to a report from Italian media outlet FcInterNews.

The report details how Premier League side Crystal Palace made a concrete offer for the player, hoping to satisfy his demands. Due to Palace’s close proximity to Giroud’s current club, Chelsea, he wouldn’t have to move to a new house or change his lifestyle.

Furthermore, Borussia Dortmund have started following him with more intensity, suggesting they may make an offer for him in January as well.

However, the 33-year-old World Cup winner still prefers Inter, the report continues. His request to the Nerazzurri is a two-and-a-half-year contract, which could be lowered to 18 months if the Nerazzurri felt that the deal was too long, worth around €8 million total.

However, the issue isn’t the negotiations with the player, but with his club Chelsea. The Blues are currently going through a transfer ban, the report adds, and may not be keen to sell him without being able to find a replacement.

However, Giroud is desperate for a move as he wants more regular first team minutes in order to impress France coach Didier Deschamps enough to be brought along to next summer’s European Championships.
