Inter are making their first steps towards signing Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, keen to start negotiations for the teenager before Juventus can, according to a report from Italian media outlet Passioneinter.com.

The report details how the Nerazzurri are looking to make a move for Tonali next summer, due to the high price and difficult nature of negotiating with Brescia for the Italian teenager in the upcoming January transfer window.

Therefore, the Nerazzurri are planning to make a real attempt to sign him next summer, the report continues. In the last few weeks Inter have had the first few meetings with the player’s entourage, who have also met the Bianconeri. Neither meeting has resulted in an official offer, yet.

Both clubs will continue to meet with Tonali’s entourage, the report adds, between now and the end of the January transfer window, but he is expected to remain with Brescia until next summer. One issue is that Brescia president Massimo Cellino values him at €50 million, a high figure for both clubs. Although, Inter are willing to make the investment if they are still suitably convinced next summer.
