Inter are incredibly interested in unhappy Roma captain Alessandro Florenzi and would be willing to fight for his signature in the upcoming January transfer window, according to a report from Italian radio station Radio Radio today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Italian full-back is unhappy at the play time he is receiving with the Giallorossi this season, with coach Paulo Fonseca preferring to play Davide Santon instead.

Therefore, he may leave the club in January in order to earn his spot in the Italy squad next summer.

Inter are one of the clubs interested in him, the report continues, although they will have to fight for his signature, the report adds, as Juventus would also like to sign him. The Giallorossi, however, have a plan.

They would ask for Inter starlet Sebastiano Esposito in exchange, but only on a dry loan deal. This would allow Inter to develop the 17-year-old striker and offer him more regular first team minutes, but at the same time receive Florenzi to strengthen up the defence.
