Inter coach Antonio Conte worried about the lack of squad depth in the club considering the importance of Inter’s upcoming games against Torino and Slavia Prague, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how Conte wants the best possible squad in the pitch in both games, as he understands the importance of keeping up the pressure on league leaders Juventus, who are currently one point above the Nerazzurri. Furthermore, the Champions League clash against Slavia Prague on Tuesday is vital if Inter want to progress to the next stage of the competition.

However, there is some good news for Conte, the report highlights. Both Danilo D’Ambrosio and Alessandro Bastoni have recovered from their respective injuries and have been training with the squad this week. Both players are likely to be deployed by Conte against the Granata on Tuesday.

Kwadwo Asamoah has still not recovered from his knee injuries and won’t feature in either game, but the Nerazzurri are hoping both Stefano Sensi and Roberto Gagliardini will be fit in time for Tuesday’s game, the report continues. Conte will most likely start Nicolo Barella, Marcelo Brozovic and Matias Vecino in the Nerazzurri’s midfield against Torino on Saturday, with Bastoni replacing either Diego Godin or Stefan De Vrij in defence. The attack will still be the powerful duo of Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez.
