Former Inter director Ernesto Paolillo discussed Jose Mourinho’s move to Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur as well as Inter and AC Milan’s new stadium project in an interview with Italian radio station Radio Sportiva today.

“Reviewing it Mourinho has had a positive effect on football fans. He’s a high-end coach, it was a shame not to see him on a bench. With him, Tottenham can become a great club.”

He then touched on Mourinho’s effect on Inter.

“Before his arrival, Inter were an understated team. With the Nerazzurri he launched Santon and Balotelli, he chose Eto’o instead of Ibrahimovic. In London he can build a great team as he did in Milan.”

Finally, Paolillo discussed Inter and AC Milan’s new stadium and the ongoing situation.

“The San Siro has given everything it could give, the city of Milan needs a new modern stadium. It will be necessary to find the meeting point between the needs of the city and Inter and AC Milan.”
