Three new Inter players have been highlighted as some of the best market acquisitions in the summer, according to the Top & Flop report from today’s paper edition of the Milano based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport.

The first Nerazzurri player mentioned in the report was Italian midfielder Stefano Sensi. The 24-year-old arrived at Inter from Sassuolo in the summer on a loan deal with a buy option attached, and his strong performances have so far made it clear that the Nerazzurri will enact that buy option. He scored three goals and provided four assists in his first ten games for Inter, before suffering a tear in his abductor muscle against Juventus in October.

The next name mentioned, the report continues, is fellow Italian midfielder Nicolo Barella. The 22-year-old arrived from Cagliari in the summer, and already has justified his €50 million price tag, considering his consistent and creative performances with Inter.

Finally, Inter striker Romelu Lukaku was highlighted, the report adds. The 26-year-old Belgian striker has scored nine goals in his first 12 league games with the Nerazzurri, and so far, is justifying his €70 million price tag considering he’s the club’s top scorer so far this season.
