Former Juventus midfielder Alessio Tacchinardi discussed Inter coach Antonio Conte as well as the Nerazzurri’s market moves in an interview with Italian media outlet Calciomercato.it today.
“Antonio knows very well, he’s a phenomenon, the strongest of all. If the team manages to manage those little tensions that the coach himself sometimes creates, they can win the title.”
He then touched on the two players the Nerazzurri should purchase in the upcoming January transfer window.
“In attack Giroud would be needed, in midfield Vidal.”
The Nerazzurri are currently second in the league after 12 games, sitting on 31 points. The Milanese side are one point behind rivals and league leaders Juventus, who beat the Nerazzurri in the first Derby d’Italia of the season last month.
Conte knows that the most important thing is to keep up the pressure of the Bianconeri and force them to approach every league game with care and consideration.
