Former Udinese coach Giuseppe Iachini touched on Udinese midfielder Rodrigo De Paul and whether he would be a good fit at Inter in an interview with Italian broadcaster SportItalia yesterday.
“In Udine he arrived as a winger, then with the evolution of the player he showed that he could play a few meters back and help the attackers. De Paul is able to play between the lines and thus reach the goal, scoring goals and assists. He can be an important midfielder, especially in the role of half-wing as Sensi is playing it and in the way Conte uses it. De Paul is for Inter.”
The Nerazzurri are interested in the 25-year-old Argentine and are hoping to sign him in the upcoming January transfer window in order to strengthen the squad and add more midfield options. The Friulian club are hoping for around €35 million for the player, a figure that Inter would prefer to spread out with a loan deal.
