Inter’s Dutch international central defender Stefan de Vrij stopped by Italian broadcaster DAZN moments ago, to give his thoughts on the first half away against Torino at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

The former Lazio man was understandably happy with the first half which ended in the Nerazzurri being up by 2 goals to nil, where he scored the second goal.

“We are very good in controlling the game, we are doing what is required when playing on a pitch like this. We are demonstrating that we know how to play in a different way, fighting for every goal and taking advantage of every chance we get.”

De Vrij was asked if he knew the severity of the injury sustained by Nicolo Barella who had to come off just before the interval, being replaced by Borja Valero.

“We are hoping for the best, it looked like it was serious but I don’t know.”

Inter lead 2-0 after goals from Lautaro Martinez and Stefan de Vrij.
