Inter’s Uruguayan international midfielder Matias Vecino, stopped by Inter TV moments ago ahead of tonight’s Serie A clash against Torino away at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, with kick-off scheduled for 20.30 CET.

The former Fiorentina man believed that the Nerazzurri are expecting a tough and physical match against the Granata, coached by former Inter coach Walter Mazzarri.

“I have seen that my teammates are fired up, I knew that they had worked a lot. I am happy, we are all fired up for tonight. It will be a physical match, we have to be ready and prepared for the duels and counterattacks.”

The conditions at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino are difficult due to heavy fog and rain making the pitch very heavy, which Vecino believes is an disadvantage to Inter.

“Yes, it is not an ideal solution, but we have to adapt to the conditions and do well in order to win the match. It is a shame that we have so many players out due to injury. We hope to have them back as soon as possible, because we have many matches coming up.”
