Inter striker Lautaro Martinez spoke to Italian broadcaster DAZN after the Nerazzurri’s 3-0 win over Torino in the Serie A tonight, where the 22-year-old Argentinian scored the opening goal.

“We know that we are doing a great job, we hope to continue in this way giving our best and working day by day. We’re happy, we’re a tough squad on the pitch and we hope to continue like this.”

“Compared to last year, where perhaps I didn’t get the minutes on the pitch needed for a player to adapt to a new team, I had a great Copa America and a great pre-season with the new coach. I’m very happy, I’m doing a great job and I’m showing it on the pitch.”

Lautaro then touched on his partnership with Romelu Lukaku.

“We know each other, and we try to improve day by day, helping the team in the first place. Whether we score or not, the important thing is for Inter to win.”
