Italian journalist and director of television network Telelombardia Fabio Ravezzani has suggested that Inter striker Lautaro Martinez is the best striker in Italy at the moment, ahead of other stars such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Ciro Immobile.

Lautaro’s goal against Torino yesterday has seen his goal tally rise to nine across all competitions so far this season, with the 22-year-old Argentine also providing three assists. He has appeared in all of Inter’s games so far this season and has developed a strong partnership with Romelu Lukaku.

Ravezzani posted a Tweet after the Nerazzurri’s victory last night, saying: “Inter have impressive qualities in defence and up front. Lautaro is the best striker in the league right now. He needs to renew his contract. Already worth more than 110 million. The feeling is that Conte in the championship will be hero until the end.”
