Inter striker Romelu Lukaku has scored ten goals in his first 13 league appearances for Inter, matching a record set by Hungarian forward Stefano Nyers in the 1948/49 season, according to a Tweet posted by OptaPaolo last night.

The 26-year-old Belgian striker joined the Nerazzurri from Manchester United in the summer and has impressed under the guidance of coach Antonio Conte.

Lukaku is the second-best goal scorer in the league so far this season, only behind Lazio striker Ciro Immobile.
