Inter legend Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Bergomi has revealed that he is convinced that Inter can remain in the Serie A title race until the very end.

Inter have made a club record start to the 2019/20 campaign having collected a total of 34 points out of the 39 available to them.

This has allowed Antonio Conte’s side to keep breathing down the neck of their arch-rivals Juventus this season with just one point separating them in second and Juventus at the top.

“In my opinion, Inter will hold on until the end because Antonio Conte knows how to convey great enthusiasm. He makes certain declarations to keep the environment compact,” he remarked in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia’s show Sky Calcio Club.

Bergomi, who spent his entire 20 year playing career on the books of the Nerazzurri, added: “Inter are a team that has quality, in January maybe there will be some signings made.”
