Inter could swoop in for Hellas Verona star Sofyan Amrabat in a low-cost move in the upcoming January transfer window according to a report from FCInterNews.it.

The Moroccan central midfielder is currently on loan from Club Brugge at the Gialloblu, who are already working on signing him on a permanent basis.

As part of their loan deal, Verona secured the right to sign the 23-year-old for a sum of just €3.5 million, which club leaders consider to be a real bargain given the performances he has put in, this despite him having yet to either score or assist.

The report goes on to state that should a club, such as Inter, come in with a bid two or three times the figure they redeem him for it could be particularly difficult to turn down.

A lot will ultimately depend on where Verona find themselves in the table. They currently sit in ninth place with 18 points, some nine points clear of the relegation zone.

The report also goes on to add that Inter’s scouts have been left impressed by Amrabat’s teammate Marash Kumbulla in recent weeks too. The centre back has made 10 appearances this term and recently made his first appearance for the Albanian national team.
