Inter will not sell striker Gabriel ‘Gabigol’ Barbosa for anything less than €35 million according to a report from Brazilian broadcaster Fox Sports Brazil.

The 23-year-old striker is currently out on loan at Brazilian powerhouses and newly crowned Copa Libertadores champions Flamengo, who wish to sign him up on a permanent basis.

The two clubs had initially found an agreement that included a €28 million fee plus a % of any future resale but due to his goals in the Copa Libertadores final, which gave the Rio de Janeiro club their first Copa Libertadores glory in almost 40 years, Inter have upped their asking price.

Gabigol himself has remained quiet on the topic of his future and recently requested for all talks on his future to be postponed until the end of the season, which has now been extended due to Flamengo’s pending participation in the Club World Cup although the report from Fox Sports claims he would like another chance to show his worth in Europe.
