Romelu Lukaku has shared his delight following Inter’s 3-1 victory away to Slavia Prague in the penultimate game of the Champions League group stage.

“We played a great game with the right mentality and a desire to win. It is a very important victory for us and I am very happy,” he said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia.

“We have to continue to work and grow and look to do well on Sunday. We now have to think about the game with SPAL.”

The 26-year-old Belgian international, who scored his first Champions League goal for the club in the match and his 250th goal of his career, was then asked about the final group stage match at home to Barcelona, which will take place in two weeks.

“I do not want to talk about this game right now. The most important game for us now is SPAL. I am focused on that game.”
