Representatives from both Inter and AC Milan will meet with Milan city council officials to hold further talks over the clubs new stadium project this coming week according to a report in today’s print edition of Turin newspaper Tuttosport.

The meeting will take place on Tuesday and will see the constraints that the city council placed on their granting of a public interest discussed specifically.

The city council placed several constraints when it came to them given the two clubs the go ahead for their new state-of-the-art stadium with some of them understood to relate to what can and cannot happen to the clubs current San Siro stadium.

Inter and AC Milan had wanted to demolish San Siro entirely as part of their plans but have faced strong opposition to the idea and it seems like San Siro will be remaining in some capacity if the two clubs decide to build the new stadium next door although its been reported that both clubs are considering alternative building spots.
