Liverpool are the latest club to join the race to sign Fiorentina attacker Federico Chiesa according to a report in Florence based newspaper La Nazione.

The current Champions League holders have taken a keen and serious interest in signing the 22-year-old Italian international, who has also got strong interest in his services from both Inter and Juventus.

Relations between Chiesa and the Fiorentina leadership are believed to have broken down and many reports lately have stated that it is almost inevitable that Chiesa will depart the Stadio Artemio Franchi club in the not too distant future.

Chiesa came through the ranks of La Viola and is under contract with them until the end of the 2021/22 season. Since making his first team debut back on the opening day of the 2016/17 season, he has went on to make 126 appearances across all competitions.
