Slavia Prague have taken to social media to call for an apology from Inter striker Romelu Lukaku regarding his comments regarding being racially abused during Wednesday night’s Champions League match with them.

Following the game at the Sinobo Stadium in the Czech capital, the Belgian called on UEFA to take stricter action toward racist abuse after he was racially abused for the second time this season. In that same interview, he said it was everyone in the stadium that had abused him.

The reigning Czech champions took to Twitter and posted: “We must reject the idea that everyone in the stadium partook in racist chanting. We have analysed the available footage, and none of it confirms what Mr Lukaku said. The club has already apologised for individuals’ behaviour and it would be appropriate for Mr Lukaku to apologise for his words too.”
