Inter coach Antonio Conte is considering giving Lautaro Martinez and Milan Skriniar a rest in tomorrow’s game against SPAL, due to the importance of next week’s league clash against Roma, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Rome based newspaper Corriere dello Sport.

The report details how Conte may give Skriniar his first rest of the season, in order to ensure the defender’s full fitness in their next game against the Giallorossi. The reason that the 50-year-old Italian coach is considering resting Lautaro is due to his heavy schedule in this period, as well as a potential suspension fear.

If Lautaro gets a yellow card in tomorrow’s game against SPAL, then he would be unavailable for the game against the Giallorossi due to accumulating four yellow cards in the league already this season. Therefore, Conte is considering starting exciting teenager Sebastiano Esposito in tomorrow’s game, his first start of the season.
