Inter are still looking to acquire both a midfielder and forward in the upcoming January transfer window, with the club hoping that they will receive offers for Italian forward Matteo Politano, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the Nerazzurri’s management are working hard to line up multiple options in the transfer window, in order to best strengthen the squad and continue the race with Juventus for the league title. One of the most important parts of their strategy is Politano. The Nerazzurri are hoping that some exciting offers will arrive for the 26-year-old Italian, giving them a little more money to work with in the window.

Furthermore, the report highlights how the Milanese side’s first choice for attack is still unhappy Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud, who has been identified as the perfect back-up for former Manchester United forward Romelu Lukaku.
