Inter full back Kwadwo Asamoah may be on the bench for tomorrow afternoon’s game against SPAL after he trained with the rest of the squad yesterday, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how the 30-year-old Ghanaian returned to squad training yesterday and coach Antonio Conte could decide to bring him for tomorrow’s league clash against SPAL. Asamoah hasn’t appeared for Inter since the end of October after suffering from some knee issues.

Furthermore, if his recovery continues, he could even potentially play tomorrow, although the chances of him starting are low as Conte hopes to ensure a full recovery, rather than rushing Asamoah and causing his injury to get worse.

Asamoah has made ten appearances for the Nerazzurri so far this season, quickly becoming an important player in Conte’s system in the left-wing back role. He has started every appearance he’s made.
