Inter Forward Matteo Politano: “If We Play Like Inter, We’ll Take Home The Win”

Inter forward Matteo Politano spoke to Italian broadcaster Sky Sports Italia ahead of this afternoon’s league clash against SPAL.

“We know that it is a difficult game, we must be calm and play our game. If we play like Inter, we’ll take home the win.”

The Nerazzurri are hoping for a to continue their incredible league form, with the club winning 11 games out of their first 13. If the Milanese side beat SPAL today, coach Antonio Conte will break a new record with the club.

SPAL are currently 19^th in the league, having had a disastrous start to the campaign. They have only won two games out of their first 13, against Parma and Lazio. A victory against the Nerazzurri today would see them climb out of the relegation zone.

Politano has struggled for play time this season with the Nerazzurri, making 12 appearances across all competitions. He hasn’t played a full 90 minutes once this season.
