Inter and Juventus are set for a transfer market Derby d’Italia next summer, with both clubs looking to sign Brescia starlet Sandro Tonali, according to a report from today’s paper edition of the Turin based newspaper Tuttosport.

The report details how Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has identified Tonali as one of the key transfer targets next summer, with the player considered a perfect fit for Antonio Conte’s midfield, likely to form a strong trio alongside Stefano Sensi and Nicolo Barella. Marotta has met with Brescia president Massimo Cellino many times already and has even offered some Primavera talents alongside money for the player.

Cellino, whilst he joked about wanting €300 million for the Italian teenager, is also keen on the idea of attaining some money as well as more young talents, the report highlights. However, next summer’s battle will largely depend on the work of the Bianconeri over the next two to three months, as they will attempt to overpower the Nerazzurri and sign the player before any real duel.
