In an interview with Marca, Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitic has shared his hopes to see his current situation at the Spanish giants change.

The Croatian international has fallen out of favour at the Blaugrana which has led to intense media speculation linking him with a transfer away from the club with both Inter and city rivals AC Milan quoted as being interested.

“I want to try and turn this situation around. If you feel bad or sad, you must leave it behind. I do not know what will happen, but there is no better place to play than at Barcelona. I want to do my best. If it can be here, all the better.

“What I want to do is have fun and do my best because I still have a lot to give. My teammates and manager have given me confidence. I now have to play in games and keep improving.”
