Inter manager Antonio Conte has had a huge impact on the playing staff at the club with his methods helping several players to improve this season, a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport explains.
Under Conte, both Antonio Candreva and Roberto Gagliardini appear to have been reborn and look back to their best having been marginalised for most of last season under Luciano Spalletti.
Conte has managed to get even more out of Danilo D’Ambrosio and Marcelo Brozovic, who have been two of the most consistent performers at the club for some time now.
The former Italian national team manager has also played a part in Lautaro Martinez’s growth. The 22-year-old has already outscored last season’s tally and is well on course to score 20 plus goals this term.
Conte has also shown no fear in playing youngsters Alessandro Bastoni and Sebastiano Esposito, both of whom have showed lots of promise when called upon.
He has every player on his side, even those who do not play much at all such as veterans Andrea Ranocchia and Borja Valero. The duo have not seen the pitch all that often but when called upon have still given good accounts of themselves.
Moreover, the Summer recruits have really benefited from Conte’s management with Romelu Lukaku, Nicolo Barella and Stefano Sensi all doing particularly well.
