Antonio Conte’s biggest masterpiece since taking the reigns of the club in the Summer has been the putting together of the Lautaro Martinez and Romelu Lukaku strike partnership according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere della Sera.

The duo have combined for 24 goals this season in Inter’s 19 competitive games to date and are both bringing the best out of one another.

Lautaro Martinez already has 13 goals to his name, which is four more than he managed in all of last season, whilst Lukaku has scored 11 goals, 10 of which have come in the league and significantly helped Inter toward reaching their current position of first place in the Serie A table.

The report from the Milanese newspaper also states that it now remains to be seen if Conte, who has significantly improved many players in the Inter team, will be able to steer Inter through winter without any mishaps.

For the past few years, Inter’s form always seems to have taken a nosedive during this period and if he navigates Inter through it relatively unscathed it will only serve as further proof of how good a manager he is.
