Stefano Sensi will not make a return to action until at least after the winter break according to a report in today’s print edition of Corriere dello Sport.
The Italian midfielder visited a specialist in Germany yesterday with Inter wishing to understand the exact condition of the 24-year-old, who has been missing for several weeks now with a presumed adductor injury.
The player first got injured against Juventus and just before returning the injury returned once more. He made a cameo appearance in the Champions League against Borussia Dortmund but the injury returned again.
Sensi joined Inter this past Summer from fellow Serie A club Sassuolo and made a profound impact prior to his injury troubles with him scoring three and him assisting four.
Sensi is one of a few midfielders at the club currently out on the sidelines with Nicolo Barella and Roberto Gagliardini both also injured which has left manager Antonio Conte especially short in this department.
